The Explorer will teach you to seek understanding. There is much fascination with what thrives within our lands, across the shores, and even that which appears in our dreams. But as thinking creatures, we discover a way. The Sun, like many astral bodies, has been a fascination for all humans and has been attributed divine aspects over time. Typically associated with both masculine and feminine energies, the Sun provides light to illuminate the landscape and heat for comfort but also energies associated with health and joy. The young man in the card appears to be reaching for the light of the Sun as he senses its force. Yet it proves too intense to behold with the naked eye so his hand also protects from the glare. He begins to understand the Sun’s immense power as a blessing for all creatures to enjoy, to bask in its warm glow, and nourish the soul.
