The Final Rites
The Final Rites will teach about grief. We know that life will have an end, although we may not know or understand what transpires upon death. What we know is what we feel, the emptiness, the heartache, the unusual pain, and the tears in our eyes. For something that is known, this is not an experience we fully comprehend. So instead we have built a ritual to honor this passing stage and let it serve as a remembrance that life had on this world. It reminds that the world of the living continues onward and we must move forward with the changing times. The moments and persons of the past may be gone, Explorer, but not forgotten. We must move on.
